In-Office Whitening
This techique involves the dentist applying whitening gel to the patient's teeth. The teeth brighten as the patient is sitting in the chair. Normally, this appointment lasts between 60-90 minutes. This technique is sometimes called laser whitening or bleaching by patients.
Take-Home (Tray) Whitening
This technique allows whitening gel to be placed into a tray that is custom fabricated to fit the patient's mouth. The gel is placed in every day for 30-60 minutes for a period of 10-14 days.
Internal Bleaching
Internal Bleaching can be done to rectify a discolored tooth. Teeth can discolor due to trauma or nerve tissue death.
